Market Access Manager (m/f/d)
Value & Health Economic and Outcome Research



  • Provide Health Economic and Outcome Research (HEOR) support to the Market Access, Policy & Communication team by designing & developing health economic models to demonstrate the value in oncology and support our target prices for our oncological portfolio
  • Shape and support technical external vendor management for health economic models such as Cost effectiveness models or Budget impact models
  • Customize and adopt global Cost Effectiveness Model or Budget Impact Model to local needs
  • Effectively communicate health economics, outcomes and strategic recommendations to colleagues across the organization, fully aligned with Policy & Communication department
  • Monitor trends, rules and policies related to HEOR or Health Technology Assessment (HTA) for the Austrian hospital landscape to guarantee patient access to our Oncology therapies
  • Collect and analyze local Real World Data (incl. epidemiology, burden of disease, health care and societal costs) to maintain the oncological value story
  • Support Market Access Oncology for data & pricing related analytics and Market Access strategy
  • Maintain our Market Access field team (Strategic Account Managers) by developing appropriate payer value packs/material to be used in negotiations with external stakeholders
  • Support the value proposition and cost effectiveness of our Oncological pipeline products in close cross functional collaboration with Medical and the Franchise Oncology
  • Close coordination and cooperation with the international & regional Health Economics and Outcome Research teams (CORE)


Qualifications & Experience

  • University Degree or above, preferably in business or life sciences (e.g. biology, biochemistry, pharmacy, medicine)
  • Degree in Health economics not required but preferred
  • Knowledge of the overall healthcare system and the role of the individual customer groups within the healthcare environment
  • Ability to navigate in a science-driven, quickly developing environment
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Proven ability to understand & learn science and translate it into messages
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop and manage professional relationships, networking
  • General affinity to digital tools and concepts
  • MS Office (Excel and Powerpoint) expertise
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to analyze data independently
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Customer and stakeholder engagement

  • Problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English and German, both oral and written


We offer an attractive salary, outstanding social benefits and an exciting work environment with varied tasks in an international environment. The minimum annual salary for this position is EUR 65.900,-- and varies according to the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
